This book had so much potential, but I've read stories that were a lot funnier and didn't have the word funny in it's title. I just didn't really enjoy reading it and just wanted to be done .

Just a fun, cheesy hallmark-esque story and I loved every second of it. Emily Henry could write a few sentences on a tissue and I'd be frothing at the mouth to read it tbh.

Emily Henry knows how to write “up north” Michigan in the best way. She captures the cuteness of the towns while weaving an irresistible and well paced novel. The characters develop and are believable— flaws and all. A new favorite.

Ugh I just love an Emily Henry book. I loved how weird Miles seemed at first and then became so lovable. What I really liked about this book was how it was two love stories.. one of romance and one of friendship. The relationship between Daphne and Ashleigh was so sweet and I almost cried when they made up after conflict. Made me miss my pals! Overall great fun read and great on audiobook!
