Emily Henry my beloved! She did it again!
I quite appreciated how she went with a different angle/set-up for Funny Story. I do feel that it made for a fresh take on the genre — even the great Emily Henry can fall into the trap of telling the same story, but we've yet to see that.
Miles and Daphne did not touch me the same way some of the other EmHen couples did, but I still really enjoyed the book. I think part of that was how they were set up from the start affected how I felt about them as a couple, but they really stuck the landing and I ultimately felt like they worked. But otherwise, something felt a bit off? I can't really figure out what.
