I have to admit, normally I don’t get captured at the beginning of Emily Henry books. It takes me a couple chapters to really feel for the book. However, this book is completely different. I was 10000% captivated from the beginning. I loved the writing style, plot, and character development of this book. The way Henry describes Michigan, makes me want to visit and I am a Buckeye fan

Overall, this was a great read! It started very strong and had a super sweet ending. I felt that the middle portion could’ve been condensed, but overall I enjoyed this romcom, feel good story of finding yourself.

4.5* for some repetition of certain words phrases that became a little overdone, but upping to 5* because really enjoyed the story and characters. Also, Julia Whelan is a great narrator.
