Eh, nothing really grabbed me here. The art is cute, but the story already feels like it will somehow be way too long.

This plot would not make any sense unless this takes place in a world where the internet doesn't exist. I can't believe two chaebols wouldn't at least do a cursory google (naver??) search before a blind date with a child of a conglomerate or important company. There's no way Hari's friend isn't online and there's no way Kang wouldn't have been online either. Even if he didn't care about the blind date, I find it hard to believe that, in his quest to find his date again, he never thought to just search for her online and find out he went out with an imposter. Especially before telling his grandfather he was going to marry her.

In some ways, the plot between the secretary and Hari's friend was more interesting of a story.

Really, I think the only reason this story wasn't simplified into Hari just being the chaebol that tries to ruin a blind date was that so many stories are cold chaebol/warm regular girl trope and that's why we get this plot that only works in a world without the internet.

This didn't interest me enough to keep reading, but I may check out the show

I love a good fake dating trope and this breezy adult manga was cute. When Hari Shin's best friend, an heiress, gets set up on a blind date with some millionaire CEO she doesn't want to go. She instead pays Hari to go on the date pretending to be her and bomb the date so he never calls her again. Hari dons a wig and a sultry persona and comes face to face with her boss. She is desperate to not get recognized and he is desperate to just marry the next person he says (ie the blind date) to get his family off his back. It's a comedy of errors and is done well in manga form. I look forward to reading more in the series.

This was cute, though the miscommunication got old after a while. I do love a good office romance and wanted more of those scenes. Overall, this was a cute and fluffy read that just lacked in the substance department and character development for me.

Cute, funny, lighthearted, romantic! This manga has some scenes that were absolutely hilarious and the confusion around who was who later on in the story entertained me. Poor Hari Shin anxiously tried to hide her true identity; always terrified of being discovered. First she had to pretend to be her friend, Youngseo, who set her up on the date with the CEO, only for him to be interested in Hari enough to want to see her again. She also works at the CEO’s company (unknown to him) and so she also has to conceal this fact as well. There was so much for her to hide about herself just so she could help her friend out. Hari Shin also tried to crush the CEO’s interest in her, but to no avail….
