There were parts of this that were really moving and that I loved — the FMC’s backstory in particular was really rich and well done. However, I feel like both the “enemies” dynamic and the “to lovers” dynamic were really underdeveloped. Why did they hate each other? How did that turn into love? I’m still not really clear.

Maggie Gates is hands down one of my favorite authors. This series is pure PERFECTION! Each brother is perfect in their own way and it only makes the series even better and I'm so sad this series is over; the Griffith brothers will forever live rent free in my head. Fire Line follows CJ the youngest Griffith Brother and the new chef at the restaurant Lennon. And man-o-man Lennon is

I love a man who grovellllssss - super sexy. I think I related the most to Lennox as a character, hiding her emotions from everyone. I loved how CJ was patient and broke down all her walls while reassuring her that he wasn’t going anywhere.

I am a Maggie mega fan, so almost anything she writes is gonna be a 5 star for me. But this one? HOOOOO BOY. If you want the grumpiest of grumps, FIESTY fmcs, and good banter? Here ya go. This book is well deserving of all of the stars.

The way I read this book so fast. What isn’t to love about a good enemies to lovers and one nights stand! What a perfect book to end this wonderful series.

After meeting at a bar and having a steamy, hallway hookup, Lennon and CJ go their seperate ways, CJ back to his family ranch where he still has to come to terms of the newly built lodge and restaurant and Lennon to her new job, that can hopefully hide her away from her past. But little do they know, that those two things are at the same time place, the Griffith Ranch. After a brief disagreement and misunderstanding, CJ finds out more about Lennon that she wanted him to know, she puts up a big fight. And once he thinks it all through, he changes his ways of thinking and has some major grovelling to do.

- Enemies to Lovers

We should let more fmc’s punch their love interests in the face when they deserve it. Also, seeing Cassandra (Manhattan bitch) vs Lennon (Bronx bitch) face off from time to time was hilarious.
