A cowboy romance that is HEAVY on the enemies to lovers energy?! Like these two absolutely cannot stand each other at the beginning.
What an entertaining read and a stunning conclusion to one of my favorite small town series.
Lennon and Carson (CJ). These two share a fun night at a local bar before parting ways. Surprise, surprise. Lennon starts her new sous chef job and it happens to be at the Griffith Ranch. Lennon is on the run from a troubled past and desperately needs her job to workout. Meanwhile, CJ is still resistant to all the new developments on his ranch and is hostile towards anyone that is a part of the new change.
The pranks and banter made this story so much fun. These two are the real definition of enemies to lovers. I loved Lennon’s character development in this book. She trusts absolutely not one soul upon first arriving to the ranch and is a total badass who is in command at her job but probably shattered emotionally in terms of her personal life.
I absolutely loved how CJ loves Lennon and shows her that there’s strength and power in letting people be there for you. You really do feel for CJ… he loves the land so much and has found it therapeutic over the years. Of course he would be bothered by the modernization on the ranch.
I absolutely cannot wait to see what Maggie comes up with next.

I am fairly certain Maggie put mind altering substances in this whole series and at the end of the day, my name is Nicole and I’m an addict.
And of course, I freaking adored it!
PSA: This does have explicit s*x scenes and language. I hesitated when I started it because it dives right in with an explicit scene a couple pages in. But, keep going.
I can't tell you the number of times this book made me tear up. The acceptance, the love, the redemption of pasts - it was truly beautiful. I adored seeing all of the Griffiths again and it felt like stepping into a world that I already knew by heart. There's something familiar about Maggie Gates and her writing, like it automatically says "Welcome home."

If Maggie writes it, I am going to read it. Period.
This book was the final Griffith Brother book and it did not disappoint. Cowboy x Ranch chef that are a very much hate to love moment after a *steamy* one night stand. She’s an ex con on the run from her past and lands at his family’s ranch as head chef, but mysterious things from her past keep resurfacing. He falls first and HARD and will do anything to protect her.
“What’s mine is yours. That jacket. This land. My family. My name. I’m a prideful man, but I will lay it all down for you. Because you have me, too.”
Thank you SO much for the ARC of the third Griffith brother, it truly meant so much to me to receive all of the ARCs in this series.

Okay so they go from being insanely physically attracted to each other, enough to have a one night stand. And then for no apparent reason, when she starts working for his family he just decides to hate her. And furthermore, he then decides to NOT-Hate her anymore and then it’s just insta-love from there?
Absolutely inane writing, wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy

I'm glad my patience paid up
I'm so happy I didn't quit on this book and believe me I want it to lots of times because OMG how it was possible for CJ to be whinging for YEARS for the same thing but anyway I forgive him, he was beyond amazing once he finally saw reason. This book was the battle of the stubborn :)
