So, so, SO good! The small town vibes are still here, and are just as good as last time. I really love how the main characters have evolved, and how you can see that everything that transpired has strongly affected them. I really applaud the author for that. My favorite thing though, is definitely the addition of the podcast. While listening to the first book, I kept thinking how much it reminded me of those true crime podcasts, so I was quite thrilled when the MC, Pippa, decided to turn what happened into one, and even named it, with the help of Ravi, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. And they even added in that little music cue that the audiobook fans are familiar with, it's just great. Personally I feel like this book and the first are pretty tied, in terms of my enjoyment. I think elements of the story and characters were better here, but the actual mystery in the first was much better and more compelling. Definitely recommend it though.
