This was a really sweet romance, and I loved it. I have had Indian friends in the past so that made reading about some of the cultural references really relatable, but also learned so much along the way. I really liked both Deepak's and Veera's characters. However, if you read this, maybe prepare yourself for the whiplash you might feel when you get to the spicy parts. I felt like some of them came (no pun intended) out of nowhere, or even if there was lead up to it, the tone and language used was so contrasting to the sweet romance preceding it. All round, as a lover of Shakespeare, this was a fun retelling in a very different context.
3.75 ????? Overall enjoyed this one. A few points where it felt like they both could have been more fleshed out as characters, but they were sweet and I enjoyed watching them sort out their relationship together!
