Personal experience overshadows any form of merit this play might have. A nightmarish experience to work on - not the play’s fault, it’s true, but a bad memory nonetheless. Perhaps unfair to rate it two stars, but I’m afraid that’s what it’s getting. Two stars is more than I’d rate my experience of staging it. Why must some people be so cruel and ruin what could have been an otherwise lovely experience?
