Well-written story of several generations of interesting people tied together by a jigsaw puzzle. Excellent character development made the people and the story very believable.

A heart warming and feel good story of several relationships woven together with a reminder that everyone’s final story includes our relationship with Christ. The story revolves around a puzzle made from wood (which I have never heard of) and becomes a character itself in this story. Having read Todd’s other books, you realize she is well versed in historical events and places from Manitoba and Canada and has a gift of introducing many characters that you will enjoy reading because they represent real folks and struggles that we see or have in our own lives. This story leaves you satisfied and content.

The Last Piece is a very intriguing story. I loved the premise and the way the puzzle's story is told through the years. It is engaging, thought-provoking, and hopeful. The way the stories are interconnected and woven together kept me turning pages to find out more. This was my second book from this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.
