There was way too much going on that never connected together. I found the majority of the characters annoying, though I’m not sure if that was exacerbated by the audiobook narrator.

There was a lot of crudeness for crudeness sake. It didn’t add to the story and made me uncomfortable at times, and I’m not one to shy away from tough reads.

Ok the story here was slow, I found myself getting bored with the story numerous times and I almost didn't finish. I feel like the author stereotypes teenagers by making jade the one who didn't care about anything. I mean who goes to a new school looking to make enemies. Then there's Sara that couldnt remember anything until her brother was there? There was a awful lot of talk about attraction to little girls by both pervs who were kidnapping but nothing ever came of it. I found the story line hard to follow because the POV kept switching so much and it wasn't consistent. The last and final thing I didn't like was the fact it was predictable. I found that I knew who the kidnappers were from the moment they were introduced so there wasn't much mystery to it.
There were things I liked, for instance, I liked how Gracie was more mature than her mom and sister, I also liked how the first girl kidnapped kept fighting right up until the end.
All over very slow paced and a good read for younger audiences that dont have very logical way of thinking. The writing style was very simple.
