Sacrifices depth for the sake of breadth. But, arguably, it’s a breadth that’s been missing from design discourse for too long. Here’s to hoping other designer-researchers pick up its threads and dig deeper.

excels at:
- providing interesting perspectives
- good examples
- being entertaining and a good addition to every quick coffee table reading collection
does not resemble:
- an exhaustive encyclopedia of global design and communication (which is fine)
