Great book! Enjoyable read. Hard to put down. This book had the ghosts of The Host and Ender's Game whispering through it. Both to its advantage. Looking forward to the next in the series!!!

Another book that took me too long to start reading… I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it. It was right in the middle of okay. There were moments that brought me closer to loving it, but overall the book was so-so. It was an okay story, and I liked the characters, but not enough that I will probably continue the series. Will say, the movie was pretty different from the novel, so wouldn’t base your wanting to read the book on that! On to the next!

This was a very good read.

Initially, the POV change wasn't good and I didn't like Sammy's perspective but it got better and the author pulled it off well. I liked the writing afterwards.

The characters were okay. I loved Cassie in the beginning but then she became simply fucking rude and now I have mixed feelings. Evan was creepy initially but he grew on me. I didn't care for Zombie at all for a large part of the book (which sucked because I had to read over 60 pages of him continuously) but I started to care after Ringer showed up. I liked Ringer.

The comcept of the book is good and it's interesting. I did think that the romance part seemed a bit out-of-place and Cassie overblown crush on Ben didn't help.

Overall, I liked this book and I'm curious to see what will happen next.

Very cute. Interesting idea, but a little bit predictable. Loved the different characters in this story!

tbh i think the only reason I kept reading was for Ben and to see if he could get Ringer to smile haha
