I'm much more confused now than I was before I read this book, but that's a good thing.

This book is a whirlwind-paced overview of time, formatted into bite-sized ideas and supplemented by illustrations.
The breadth of topics this book touches upon is quite large, but unfortunately the depth of discussion of each is very thin. It devotes at most a few paragraphs to each topic (and often quite less), so the discussion is mostly perfunctory. Many times, I felt important details left out. For example, the discussion of the Rietdijk-Putnam argument leaves out that it has been refuted. The illustrations are pleasant but contribute only modestly to the discussion.
Overall, this book is best for those who want to get a cursory overview on the topic of time, identify issues they might be interested in to learn about more, and then go to other sources for a more in-depth treatment.
