Jan Karski was truly one of a kind, and makes me proud to say I’m of Polish heritage. His story is one you won’t find elsewhere in World War 2 literature, it’s devastating and stupefying all the same, but different as well. Definitely the most unique WW2 memoir I’ve read to date.
