the writing was lacking and confusing at times. the story would jump from different scenes and point of views very suddenly and took me out of the story. it was very predictable at almost every turn.
there was a few scenes that caught me off guard and i was not expecting them. i enjoyed the characters for the most part but wish there was more courting and a deeper love story. the ending upset me deeply and i will be reading the next book to see what happens

I couldn’t put this down and I’m genuinely so upset that the next book doesn’t come out for another week, so I figured that anger meant this book gets 5 stars
