Because what is love, if not an exercise in faith?
Because what is love, if not perseverance?
Because what is love, if not forgiveness?

i sort of liked it. but I hated that I didn't get to have a final chapter with tessa's pov. It's stopped being her series one book ago.
I feel cheated

Ésta mujer no defrauda nunca. Llevaba años posponiendo la lectura de este libro y una vez más, me ha vuelto a enganchar.

Muy recomendado, espero que haya más ☺️

4'5 ⭐ porque el desarrollo final no me lo esperaba para nada!

FINALLY. A Book that has broken the 'Great Book Slump of 2015'.

A really excellent Psychological Thriller. The twists and turns honestly kept me on my toes the whole way through, every now and then I I thought that I had managed to fit all the pieces together and finish the jigsaw... and then I would find more and more pieces and the whole puzzle started again!

The characters were just wonderfully crafted and I loved reading about them, regardless of the plot. Nicky and Thomas had this amazing dynamic, I genuinely felt this palpable romance between them, and actually, something deeper than mere love and much more like need. They needed each other to survive. When I read about Thomas and Nicky and their story it almost gave me goosebumps. There was just something so compulsive in their relationship that it was compelling to read.

Why the four stars then...
Spoiler I have already raved about the relationship between Thomas and Nicky, so I feel that Thomas trying to kill Nicky was a bit left of wing. He tried to kill her twice because she was remembering the past, but on the final night, he takes her to the house to help her remember... Their relationship was so dynamic but he just randomly started trying to kill her... I guess it felt out of character and just more of a plot point than a natural development of their story.

I have already recommended it to quite a few people. Really enjoyed 'Crash and Burn'.

Love Tessa and Wyatt! And DD made some small guest appearances which also makes my heart happy! I’d definitely go for some more Tessa books!

This book was such a mindf*ck that I have to seriously wonder what Lisa Gardner's office looked like when plotting this out. I had no way of figuring anything out and each time something new was revealed I was all "WTF??"

I started out with "Find Her" and read all the DD Warren books and met Tessa so then I had to read her books. Now I need to go back and read the FBI books. Love Ms. Gardner's mind even when it makes me seriously wonder at how easily she'd have it when it comes to burying the bodies.
