I felt it draggggggged. First book I couldn’t put down. This one felt a bit repetitive. It took some time just to get though. Story line felt a bit weak.
Unfortunately this didn’t live up to my expectations following book #1. It’s hard to believe two characters that fight and argue as much as these two do are part of a love story. The excitement for their relationship from book #1 has disappeared entirely. Struggled to finish the book as the plot seems to jump around quite a bit and the main conflict seems confusing and weak. The Christmas bonus chapter was the best thing about this book.
It's now giving me Crave by Tracy Wolff vibes and I'm not mad at it. I am a little mad at one of the twists which, even though I saw it coming, was still sad.
