the writing got much more stronger than in the first few issues. it is hard to put the book down, it feels like they finally got their groove.
the new characters are very interesting and i am happy with the new long term artist.

Seems like kind of a building arc for the ongoing storyline but still, charming and I'm interested to see where it goes.

4.5- probably one of my faves in the series. Great character and story development.

Trying to carry on with these volumes. The dialogue is great but some of the subplots were meh. This volume felt like filler.

Insufficient quantities of telepathic dinosaur but a satisfying amount of Doombot and attempts to feed a young Lovecraftian monster. It's hard to be heroes.

This series is very charming, and I love it. I really like all the characters, and Rowell's writing is so good. There's a new artist on this run, but they have the same vibe and energy as Kris Anka that I didn't really notice the change. At any rate, the art fits the writing and the characters SO WELL. This is great.
