Fun and silly. But a little boring.

This was ok. 3.5 stars.

I was mostly entertained. The world building wasn't great, this didn't feel like a standalone. Like what is an adept? I think if we had MORE this would have been better.

Felt a bit more YA than adult in characters and writing style, but was fun all the same. I'm glad I picked up this random find!

One of the most entertaining books I've ever read. My equine loving heart was happy and giggling the whole book.

3.5 rounded up. Cute story. If you liked “Our Lady Jane,” you’ll probably like this. I can’t stand how many times the phrase “Virtues of Mercy” or something similar was said. Also, the big bad was fairly obvious.
