Liked the first half more than the second. The romance wasn’t particularly convincing and progressed way too quickly which soured it for me. As for the writing, it was fine but definitely would have benefited from some more editing. If everything (plot, characters, dialogue, romance, etc.) had been more developed it could have been at least a 4, but as it is I can’t give it more than a 3.

This started well enough, and until they get together I was really into it, but then the tension between the main characters is resolved in like half a page. Suddenly they don't hate each other anymore, they are falling in love! but of course they cannot trust each other because miscommunication trope, and after that everything else just goes down. Such a shame.

I needed something to read and it caught my eye on the library display. A silly, fast paced book that was a bit ridiculous (although I can't tell if the author intended it or not) but the characters were interesting enough.
