I came for the premise of a character cursed to turn into a horse and I stayed... honestly, I'm not sure why I stayed. This book wasn't the worst thing ever but definitely wasn't the best either.

very slow, needed more horsepower

Such a fun read. I love the chronic illness and queer  representation in this book.

The main couple are amazing. They were constantly sticking up for eachother, from others and even sometimes themselves, and loved eachother because of their faults instead of in spite of them. And they actually talked to eachother! No miscommunication trope here!

Unfortunately, it did get a little repetitive at times. There were also points in the story where I wanted to crawl into the book and smack Bianca for being a self deprecating idiot.

right right right of course. anyway this was a sweet treat. no funny business happens during horse time, and the mmc advocates for her to get help for her chronic illness. Pop off king
