I didn't expect much when I started this book. I was pleasantly surprised. I really like the sensitivity and vulnerability of the MMC. It is rare to read a book where the make isn't an alpha. It was a nice book to read after reading a few stressful books in a row. It was a win here!

Cozy romantasy + horses + plot similar to the movie “The Swan Princess”? Sign me up. Aric and Bianca’s relationship grows throughout the story and their banter is adorable. I appreciate that Aric is a green flag - we need more of those. The world and magic systems are digestible for easy, casual reading.

i was obsessed with behooved before anyone even knew about it and i’m so pleased it lived up to my hype. bianca and aric are such a fun pairing to see evolve, and bianca’s inner conflict i think was done well too. it felt right to end them both in progress of embracing their “weaknesses”, not just automatically healed by the power of love. it’s a bit trope-y at times but it didn’t lessen my enjoyment for once, it all felt pretty natural? idk i just liked it. a nice light romp in a fantasy world was so needed.

this was really cute. it was a fun story with some comfort cliches that people really enjoy. while it did have some spicy scenes it didn't really feel like an adult novel more YA. I'd still recommend this for a cute and fun cozy read

I loved the beginning, it almost has princess bride vibes. But the middle was a little slow and repetitive. Especially her internal monologue about how he couldn’t possibly like her. Then their romance went from 0 to 100.
I think if it had been shorter/edited down a little, their relationship developed a little more, and or if Aric’s character was developed a little more I would have loved this!
