I absolutely loved the first book in this series! It had everything that I wanted and I was excited to see what the follow up book was like. While I still enjoyed my read, I felt like it was missing some of the magic from the previous one.

The first half of the book, I was glued to my seat. I was loving their banter and the little looks into their characters, ones that they might have kept hidden from others. I loved how all in Cash was from the very beginning and how he was always going to show up for Everly. Everly was a little slower to warm up, because why wouldn't she be skeptical after not seeing him for years! But Cash was Cash, so there was no resisting his charm, support, and the comfort he brought her. The slow burn and realizations each of them had was just wonderful.

Where I lost some of my interest was after they really got together. There was a lot of focus on their sex life and I felt like it became really repetitive. I wanted to see them go out and date and keep getting to know each other in a deeper way after being apart for so long.

Even so, they had great chemistry and I loved all of the scenes with family, on Cash's side but also Everly's brothers. I've loved the Stafford family since I was introduced to them and I was so glad the meddling family was back. So excited to read the next book(s) with these characters!

This book has my favorite tropes, friends to lovers and brothers best friend! I absolutely fell in love with Cash from the first chapter! His protective nature over Everly was fun to read and wasn’t overly possessive. He gave her room to grow, trust and be loved with endless patience! And the Stafford family is a hoot! I just want to hang out with the mom and sister all the time! The text message exchanges were one of the best parts of the book. The Stafford family is loving and protective over each other,which I absolutely loved about this story! This is the first one I have read in this series, but I plan to read the other stories to catch up!

I am loving this series so much! This book did marriage of convenience so well and Cash embodies "if he wanted to he would". As always this was very low stakes and just lighthearted fun. I am BEYOND EXCITED for the next books about Dawson and Harrison!!
