Only missing 25% because I am sad we didn’t see more of Sophia and Barbara.

Welp, what did I expect? I guess I expected a fantasy tale. And that’s not really wrong. I got a tale written with a lot of fantasy. I got the 5th anniversary TP. Primary, because I wanted to know. The title kinda was daring in its own way. What does this comic book hide? And well, it hides a lot. I can’t really go into plot because you have to look into it yourself what giants are killed.

Art is solid. I like the mix of anime and comic. The black white fits and goes well with its horror elements and the characters are architectures but also a bit daring. The main character is mean and a bit unlikable. But she’s 5th grade that’s an age were we all are. I don’t mind. It shines from its whacky characters that are still in their teens and act like teens.

I really have to empathise that I can’t say more because you have to find out about this masterpiece about goodbyes yourself. And I promise you, you will love it in the end.

I love the story - Barbara is such a perfect little middle-school weirdo. And the art style is mesmerizing.

I love that I Kill Giants doesn't fit neatly into an age category, either. There are little things that would traditionally be "inappropriate" in a middle-grade novel, like Barbara's vulgar insults and the naked little sprites she sees.

The end is just a liiiiiittle too heavy-handed, but that's my only complaint.
