No Pucking Way is a dark why choose romance and first book in the Rich Demons of Hockey series. This book includes tropes such as hockey, mafia, he falls first, grumpy and possessive MMCs and amnesia.

I was really surprised that I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would. There was so much hype around it and after reading all the reviews, I really was sure that this one will join my list of the best dark hockey romances. Basically, we follow the story of Kennedy, who just woke up from a coma. She has amnesia and tries to figure out who she is. The only thing that sparks any kind of familiar feelings is a hockey arena and four guys.

While I was able to connect with Kennedy, I had trouble connecting with the guys. There is not much we find out about them. Besides some basic fact, they are just as much of a mystery to us as they are to our FMC.

Overall, this is a good hockey romance, but I do feel like there were a lot of tropes mushed up into one, so the writing seems very messy. As this one is a dark romance, you need to check the TWs before reading it.

The story was really good, I love CR Jane, but had never read May Dawson prior to this and I definitely will check her out.

The story picked up around chapter 5, and that's when I was hooked.
One FMC with amnesia with a crazy best friend
3 hot hockey gods
1 hot mafia don.

Sounds like a perfect read!

DID NOT FINISH: 59%

Honestly, I really hated that she was left completely alone with amnesia. It was really sad and the boys had no excuse

I don't read many amnesia books, but I really enjoyed this duet. I thought it was a great why-choose. The tension between the guys in the beginning getting less and less when they realize they all want the same woman was great!

Finished this out of spite because I was past the 50% mark when I wanted to bail

amazing!

I was immediately sucked into this amazing book. Kennedy is a very strong woman despite having an accident and relearning to live a life she doesn’t remember. I enjoyed reading her journey until the last page with an eye popping cliffhanger. There was tons of steam with the guys she doesn’t remember but they know her very well. This book was simply amazing and I can’t wait to read the rest of Kennedy story.
