DID NOT FINISH

Amnesia dark mafia, professional hockey and reverse harem. Way too much yuck

This is the first book and I believe it is a duet. So expect a cliffhanger. The author does list any possible triggers, so please read them first. The story is on the darker side. Kennedy is our heroine. Even though she lost her memory she has continued on and has made her way. Things aren’t easy but she isn’t afraid to try. The story brings some men into her new life but they also bring danger with them. What do they know about her past? Soon she will be mixed up with three very dominant hockey men and one very dangerous mafia boss. The heat level does get hot. I enjoyed the story and all of its surprises. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

I just think this one had a little bit of everything I love, we had suspense, we had the drama, and there was a lot of tension since it's slow burn. Plus we have kind of a big mystery going on because we don't know how they know each other, what their connection is, and how they were ever going to get on the same page since the FMC doesn't remember any of the guys, 3 of the guys hate the third guy, and the third guy is so heavily involved in the criminal world and doesn't have any connection to the FMC other than stalking her. It's a bit of a chaotic mess but I was obsessed with this one. It does end in a cliffhanger, but the second book is out and does wrap it all up and end with an HEA. It's definitely been a year of duologies for me.

3.5⭐️
This one definitely had a fun and interesting premise. Dark Hockey Suspense is on genre I’ve loved, but throw in Mafia too and I’m a goner! Kennedy is an interesting character but we don’t know too much about her yet. In typical RH fashion she is dickmatized early on so she doesn’t always make rational decisions. The guys I’m just like huh?! I have no idea who any of them are really. I don’t feel like we really got to know anyone’s personality. Greyson I felt we got the most of a feel for, don’t get me wrong it was entertaining and kept me invested. I want all the answers.

CR Jane and May Dawson did it again. This dynamic duo has the Dark Romance sector nailed down.

Kennedy: Woke up in a hospital with no memory of who she is. The only thing that makes her feel some semblance of familiarity is the Ice Rink, home of the Devils who happen to employ Carter, Jack, and Sebastian, the darlings of the Devils.

Jack: Total Golden Retriever energy UNTIL he is pissed off.

Carter: Captain and pure alpha. This man has SECRETS.

Sebastian: Has decided that he wants Kennedy, and he is willing to burn down the world for her.

Greyson: Walking Red Flag who was once part of the triumphant trio, but SECRETS. (I LOVE this man’s crazy)

This book is

If you like your guys dark, and so covered in red flags, it’s basically a giant size blanket, this is the book for you. Kennedy had an accident that left her with amnesia. No one claimed her, she only knows her first name because of a necklace. 5 years later she meets four guys that all seem familiar to her somehow. Her memories are starting to unlock, but would it have been better to have stayed away and not known? This is book one and ends on a cliffhanger, and it’s addicting. You have been warned
