WOW!!!! CR Jane and May Dawson separately are two of my favorite authors, but whenever they come together to give us a new book baby it's ALWAYS magic!! This story captivated me from page 1. I couldn't put it down, couldn't stop reading. I didn't even realize how quickly I devoured it until I was at the end. I loved Kennedy!! She starts out vulnerable and lost. Suffering from amnesia, she's desperate to find herself. She's gets so much more when she meets Greyson, Carter, Sebastian and Jack. Immediately, she feels a sense of familiarity and safety with them. Gradually, she learns more and more about them. Like how Greyson used to play hockey with Carter, Sebastian and Jack, but now they hate him. And like how they all seem to know some of favorite things, even when she doesn't remember what her favorite things are. She starts putting two and two together, realizing that she must have known them in her past. This is a story with lots of twists, lots of secrets, and lots of steam!! These guys are obsessed, possessive and willing to do whatever it takes to protect their girl from any and everyone! Although Kennedy is so lost and unsure of everything, she's no pushover! She's discovering herself, becoming stronger and remembering more. There's nail biting action, a mystery to unravel, swoon worthy romance, growly men, and lip biting steam!! I cannot wait for book 2!!
Hockey, mafia, RH, amnesia and a crazy bestie? There is no way this perfectness exists right? Throw in some giys (especially one) with ALL the red flags and you have yourself this delicious wee number. Hard to put down, unless its to get up and change your pants, this book had me riveted. The one thing i really loved was Kennedy, wakes up from a coma with amnesia. Remembers nothing, the only reason she knows her name is because she had a necklace with her name on it. So we get to see her find herself, literally, she does not know what she likes or who she knows. Kennedy is a complete blank slate, until her subconsciousness puts her back in the path she was always destined for. I loved all of her guys, we definitely saw a lot of Grayson. I must be a bull cos all i see with him is one massive red flag. But i also love him and so does Kennedy. Cant wait to read the finale in this duet.
