This was a wild ride!

Kennedy woke up from a coma 5 years ago but can’t remember her life before. Now, she recognizes a hockey rink and feels close to 3 hockey players….and Greyson, a mafia man.

I really enjoyed the mystery. We didn’t get too many answers and I wish we could have had a scene with all of them like a typical why choose romance. Hopefully in the second book because this does end on a cliffhanger!

I hope it comes out soon!

No Pucking Way by C.R Jane and May Dawson is book one in the Rich Demons of Hockey. This book combines two of my favorite tropes: mafia and hockey. Not to mention it is also a why choose romance. There’s stalking, obsession, amnesia and a bunch of other themes. There’s some dark themes/issues so check your trigger warnings to be on the safe side. I personally couldn’t put my kindle down, this book was so good! I finished it in about a day, before I knew it I was at the end of the book. The descriptions in the book was fantastic, I could clearly picture everything I was reading. The plot was so interesting and it blended all the tropes I mention earlier perfectly. My favorite character hands down is Kennedy, with everything she went through she still stands tall. Then there are the guys… oh my! They are possessive and protective. There are twists and turns…which I just ate up. But that cliffhanger of an ending, I don’t know how I’m going to wait for book two!

challenging dark emotional mysterious sad tense medium-paced

Loved, loved, loved this story! It's a tragic beginning for Kennedy when she wakes up from a coma with no memories of her past. She finds her way back to her men, but she doesn't realize they've been her men for a long time. There is lots of drama with the delicious spicy times. Lots of triggers to be aware of, and this book ends on a pretty good cliffhanger. Can't wait for book 2!

“You’re going to come for me again. You’re going to come so many fucking times tonight that you black out. And then I’ll probably still make you come. When you wake up tomorrow, you’re going to know that You. Are. Mine!”

I devoured this book! It was a one-sitting, stay-up-all-night read that left me dying for more (yes, I forgot this was book one in a series and was absolutely blindsided by that cliffhanger). It’s an excellent blending of hockey and mafia tropes with some amnesia and best friends to rivals thrown in.

If possessive MMCs with an armful of red flags are your kryptonite, you will fall in love with these men. Why settle for one OTT J/P man when you can have four? A bit of light kidnapping never hurt anyone, right? And everyone needs to be stalked by an obsessed male, for their safety, of course.

Medium burn and spicy with loads of good girls, possessive application of cum, and “mine”.

Back to the cliffhanger… I was not prepared. I do not know how I will make it until March.
