Dark, spicy and intriguing.

4.5 ⭐️ I flew through this book. I am completely obsessed with all 4 of them and the premise was really good.

The only reason I am taking half a star is because I am not a huge fan of having to wait for resolution and cliffhangers.

How is s

So confused

Okay so I get the hockey part of the book but it’s way to beyond vague to even consider this mafia. I’m just confused how Kennedy can wake up and have amnesia but mysteriously can just rent an apartment, get a job, and yet doesn’t even know her last name. Also the people who were hiding her lives in the same town as her?! I don’t know but the math isn’t mathing for me. I kind of want to read the next book because I’m curious and it was left on a major cliffhanger but I hope it gets better.

No Pucking Way was the fantastic first part to a duet that has a few of my favorite tropes and one that I have not read a lot of (but am now genuinely intrigued by). Kennedy wakes up in a hospital with no memory of who she is beyond a name necklace. She's ultimately drawn to a skating rink and in comes these beautifully psycho men that make the whole situation even more arduous. They are OTT, jealous men who honestly have many “red flags” that are overlooked and yet we love them anyway. This storyline is a bit dark and twisted, deliciously steamy, and at this point I'm completely invested. I'm ready to see what secrets will be revealed in part two!

Y’all,
when I tell you this book is WILD, I mean it. 🤯 No Pucking Way by C.R. Jane has me absolutely SHOOK. From the very first page, I was hooked on the unhinged behavior of these characters. C.R. Jane writes some really good ‘wtf is happening’ MMCs. 😅

We’ve got a FMC who’s lost her memory, three hot hockey players and a mysterious, tattooed MAFiA MAN who walks in like he owns the place. Yep, there’s drama! Yep, there’s tension. And. Yep, there’s the BEST sexual chemistry. Do I like all of the characters? Absolutely not. I’m trying REALLY hard to like Greyson because Kennedy likes him. But, boy is it a struggle. I’m hoping the next book helps.

OMG!! I absolutely loved this book. I really feel for Kennedy and what she is going through. I don't think I could ever go through that, waking up and not knowing who you are. I like all the guys but I think my favorite might be Greyson. The plot of this book keeps you very entertained. so much that I read this in one sitting. The only problem I have is that it ends on a cliffhanger so now I have to wait for the next book.

No Pucking Way is a dark why choose romance and first book in the Rich Demons of Hockey series. This book includes tropes such as hockey, mafia, he falls first, grumpy and possessive MMCs and amnesia.

I was really surprised that I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would. There was so much hype around it and after reading all the reviews, I really was sure that this one will join my list of the best dark hockey romances. Basically, we follow the story of Kennedy, who just woke up from a coma. She has amnesia and tries to figure out who she is. The only thing that sparks any kind of familiar feelings is a hockey arena and four guys.

While I was able to connect with Kennedy, I had trouble connecting with the guys. There is not much we find out about them. Besides some basic fact, they are just as much of a mystery to us as they are to our FMC.

Overall, this is a good hockey romance, but I do feel like there were a lot of tropes mushed up into one, so the writing seems very messy. As this one is a dark romance, you need to check the TWs before reading it.
