This play is alright. The minor characters are more interesting and fun than the main cast. The ending is abrupt.

I listened to this play and really enjoyed it . The word play really came alive in the audiobook and this is my favorite of the comedies read so far . Going forward I am going to listen to all plays as you catch more of the nuances.

February 2020: Local staged reading was a lot of fun. Not my favorite script but a good time was had nonetheless.

Summer 2023: Local professional performance was entertaining! This script is quite the hodgepodge and you can see the threads of various other plays. I think I picked up on the vibes of such comedies as A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, and Much Ado among others.

This one was not for me. Too much fluff and clowning not enough plot. Would maybe be better to see because of the disguises. Also the rhyming and alliteration through out might make more sense out loud. Just felt like nonsense.

Cute play; I think I would have enjoyed it more had it ended a bit differently. But love is always a fun topic.

I listened on audiobook so I’m sure I missed stuff but I found the dialogue to be absolutely hilarious.

I read this because I am seeing it performed in June. Hopefully, I like it better then since from listening to it on audiobook then it is only okay.
