Loved the banter in the first part of the book but later on their relationship development was just waaay too quickly for me. Also is it just me or is the heroine just kinda stupid in a lot of her decisions ? I really liked the concept of the book but after some time i was also quite bored while reading…All in all it was an ok book.

When i read this blurb for the first time i knew i had to read this book. The blurb completely sold me but the actual book? Absolute perfection.
Scarlett and Tucker are amazing together, they have their ups and downs but who doesn't?
I loved the small town atmosphere you got from this book too, you have the close nit bit friends and family and the small town gossip but it feels great.
12 years have gone by and you see the changes and growth in everyone but can you over come the girl who turned into a huge celebrity and left you behind?
Seriously Tucker was swoon worthy! From the first page you see him my heart beat faster for him. And Scarlett! She was amazing! She seemed pretty stubborn at first but when life throws a spanner in the works in a life you thought was great you start rethinking things.
This duo of authors complimented eachother so well! I look forward to seeing what else they come up with!

I really enjoyed this book, though at times I found the plot to be very similar to some other books I have recently read. Despite that, this was still a great romance story and I enjoyed every single character in this story.

Scarlett is a girl who wanted to escape her small town and found that with a music career, however, after 12 years she returns back home to watch over her father. What she doesn’t expect is the less than warm welcome from her former childhood best friend, Tucker. Tucker is now a cop, a single father and living right next to Scarlett’s father. He’s had a crush on her since they were kids, but then she left without a word. Will these two former best friends be able to mend their relationship?

I loved the chemistry between Scarlett and Tucker, at least once Tucker got over Scarlett popping back into his life. But the relationship between Scarlett and Tucker’s daughter, Chloe was hands down the best. They instantly bonded with each other and connected on so many levels. It was super sweet. Tucker’s relationship with his daughter was great, he loved his baby girl more than anything.

This is the perfect book for anyone who loves a Rockstar romance meets friends to lovers.

Y’all know single dad books are my kryptonite, seriously they make me weak in the knees. So it was no surprise right from the get-go Already Gone was right up my alley.

It’s been twelve years since Scarlett’s been home after making a name for herself and becoming a famous country singer. But when she receives a phone call from her sister, it has Scarlett dropping everything and returning back to the place that she couldn’t get out of fast enough. And although her welcome home isn’t quite what she thought it would be, it doesn’t take long to reconnect and fit right in, especially with her one true friend, Tucker.

It’s been years since Tucker’s seen Scarlett, and he isn’t all that happy about her return to New Hope. He’s still holding onto anger and is bitter about her leaving and that she never reached out. More so though, he’s hurt because he thought they were friends. Another thing is is that Tucker always felt more for Scarlett, but she never knew that. But now, they’re getting to know each other as adults and forming an even better friendship which ultimately leads to something more.

It was no denying the chemistry between Scarlett and Tucker. Their undeniable attraction was evident from the start. There were things they had to work through and a few bumps along the way, but it only made their relationship stronger. And being together ultimately came down to compromise.

Already Gone gave me so many feels. I absolutely loved everything about this book. The characters were so down to earth and relatable. It was perfectly paced with no unnecessary drama. I hope there’s more to come from this writing duo because I want more!

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book*

Kristen Proby and KL Grayson are known for their skill in writing romance. Now these two powerhouses have teamed up to give readers, Already Gone, an amazing love story about a girl who seemingly has everything and yet is still missing something and a boy who thinks he has everything he could ever want but is missing someone from his past.

Scarlett Kincaid is a country music sensation, who travels home to South Carolina to care for her father. However, after a run in with the law, otherwise known as her childhood best friend Tucker Anderson, she begins to realize everything that she has been missing out on while in Nashville. Tucker has always loved Scarlett and seeing her brings those emotions to the surface. But he has more than just himself to consider when planning his future.

While I am a longtime Proby fan, this was one of my first Grayson novels. These two women knocked this one out of the park. You will not want to miss this book. It is full of heart, humor, and family. This is a great standalone, but would make the great start to a series (hint, hint!). Do yourself a favor and pick this book up asap!

Oh, I absolutely love friends to lovers romance and this book was everything I've come to love about the trope. Scarlett was the small town girl who needed to find herself leaving behind everything she knew including her bestfriend Tucker. Tucker was in love with his bestfriend, still is and now that she's back it's the anger that's in the forefront. Scarlett is trying to rekindle her friendship with Tucker while they both realize the love they have for each other trumps all else. This book will have you smiling and your heart happy with this beautiful sweet love story.
