Wat een saai boek. Er wordt de illusie gewekt dat er veel spannends gebeurt, maar eigenlijk gebeurt er niks. De hoofdpersoon is daarbij ook nog eens oliedom, wat vooral aan het einde van het boek erg frustrerend is om te lezen.

What a boring book. The illusion is made that it's very tense with lots of happenings, but in reality it really isn't that interesting. The main character is also very stupid, which is especially frustrating at the end of the book.

i’ve read many books by agatha christie and loved or liked them but never DNF so this is my first ever because the plot and characters are very dull and i can’t force myself to read it anymore.

Much better than the last two novels I've read. Still a bit too much extraneous information that has no bearing on the story-line, and characters who come out of nowhere, leaving one scratching their heads.
