It reminded me a little of The Man in the Brown Suit with the girl adventurer, going off to an exotic locale and coming across a mystery. It was quite as good though, but it was a fun read. It was more of a thriller-type book than a classic whodunit.
I thought this was a really entertaining read, with engaging characters. At times, it reminded me of a cross between a spy novel and a 1930s screwball comedy -- parts were quite funny.
I found this story quite enjoyable, despite being no admirer of Dame Agatha's struggle-for-worldpower-conspiracy plots in general.
The good, old-fashioned Poirot/Miss Marple mysteries are much more in my line.
Great narration by Emilia Fox.
