One of the best murder mystery books I've read! Just when I thought I'd figured it out, there was more information to keep me guessing.

I enjoyed it, I'm pretty observant and I didn't see the twists coming. However, the writing wasn't great. It's YA but written like middle grade level. I kept forgetting our main character was 17 and not 13. It was still a good book that I would recommend.

Read this if you like:
Mysteries with multiple suspects
Story told from only one POV
Investigative and informative details
Fast paced thrillers

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder was a fabulous book of obsession and mystery. My only complaint was that end was a little disappointing, but even that was because I was hoping from the start that it would be going in a slightly different direction.
i also hated that they killed the dog! Like why??
The book was super captivating and I was constantly making new theories and updating old ones. While not the best book I've read, I would certainly recommend it to anyone even slightly interested.
