Definitely my favourite of the series so far....the writing is better, the tension feels more real. And we're left with some intriguing questions I want answered in the next book.

The twists were incredibly predictable, which I feel lends to the speed of the read. I found the final confrontation entirely too short considering the length of the build up. I would have loved to see more time dedicated to conflict, but I know that's not the nature of the story. Overall, I still enjoyed spending time with the characters and will continue to do so in subsequent books.
