Grammatical errors, clear lack of research on the relevant time period, implausible dialog, and one dimensional characters. A chore to finish.

First of all, I love the premise. It had a great hook, which is why I read it. I love time travel books. If the author paid for editing, he should get his money back. This feels like a first draft that needs to be cleaned up. It has a ton of potential, and I wish I had been a beta reader for this, because I think it could be incredible with some better editing.

Very entertaining story, I have been on a time travel kick so I was pleased when I found a whole new series to read. this did not disappoint. Couple of minor plot flaws but that should not keep you from reading it.

I received this as an ARC from the author through Bookfunnel in exchange for an honest review. I’ve enjoyed all of the author’s past books, but I’m sorry to say this one fell a little flat with me. There were several errors throughout the book (17 by my count). I don’t know if he was in a hurry to get the book finished, but that just shouldn’t happen.

Another thing I found troublesome was that he went back to the past to find out what happened to his daughter, and he spent more time trying to stop something from happening three years in the future, in 1999. Its laudable that he tried to prevent a horrible tragedy, it just seems to me he should have kept his eyes on his daughter.

This book just seemed to be a bit hurried. I’m hoping the second book in the series is better.

What if you could go back in time, and get to stop the worst thing in your life from happening? Would you take the chance, no matter the cost? And more important, yet... would it work?

This story is thrilling and really engaging; the writing very good, and you can't avoid empathizing with the characters. An excellent first book in a series that I'm looking forward to reading.
