Much too short but rather quirky and an enjoyable start to what should be a great adventure. The art is fun and by the end I was happy with the way the story was headed, even though I thought it started off a bit overly simplistic.

Our Paladin is great and the way the party find him is neat. There's a sort of red herring to throw you off the main reveal in this but it doesn't work at all. Still a satisfying plot direction.

Our elf-damsel in distress Cybriana is nicely evened out by Vajra, the fierce woman warrior with a good sense of humour and a careful use of words. We've also got a genuinely nasty and entirely self interested dwarf and his pal the wanbabe-hero centaur.

The bad guys have stolen a magic stone called the Eye of Selune and are trying desperately to find a magic user who can unlock the power of said stone in time for a mysterious Great Awakening.

I'm not familiar with advanced D&D but was most impressed by the characters in this so far.
