Chick-lit at its best, loads of fun as disasters and chaos follow Bobbie Faye. It made me laugh out loud a couple of times.

This was cute.

Not sure why, but this one felt like it took me a while to finish. The BF quotes at the front of each chapter made me smile. The idea that she's such a human disaster area was also funny. I'm not sure what was note quite catching me about this book, but it just wasn't there for me. I do own the next two, so I'll give those a shot at some point.

This was a very fun, easy read ala Janet Evanovich, but, dare I say, better than Evanovich!

This book was a thrill a minute action ride, and I highly recommend it to any Evanovich readers. This book has exploding gun shacks, bear attacks, and all manner of mayhem centered on Bobbie Faye, our heroine in whose wake destruction usually follows. It's set in Louisiana with a cast of colorful characters. I liked this book so much that I called the library to order the sequel the instant I finished it.

This book was so much fun - it was totally hilarious, and I couldn't stop reading it! Every second, you think things couldn't possibly get any worse for poor Bobbie Faye, and yet somehow, they always do. First, she wakes up to a flood in her trailer that just won't stop, which then actually splits her trailer in half. I really don't want to go into more detail, because it would totally ruin the story, but it is raucous and hilarious and so much fun - the best parts of chick lit and mystery novels all rolled into one.

This is a funny, quick moving book that is actually better than the Stephanie Plum books it is compared to. Bobbie Faye, while a magnet for disaster, is a good shot and as tough as nails. She is not a woman that needs rescuing, and that is quite frankly nice to have a woman who is competent in these kind of books.

Fun book, but I think I missed the part with the lobster/crawfish comes in.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this was not a romance, since it seemed to be billed as one. I would class this as a combination of mystery and "chick lit", since it was much more focused on the humor and adventure. A fun, easy read, very humorous and engaging.
