I haven't read the second novella in this airport trilogy but this might be lower in terms of how much I admire the story. I'm always iffy when it comes to friends to lovers, especially with a short story such as this one. I think there wasn't enough show not tell when it came to believing Silas and Teagan's pining over one another. We did get flashbacks but I felt like the flashbacks overtook the present day. Maybe if this was originally them as college students then flashforward? The spice was milder in comparison and it happened around the 75%/80% ish of the novella.

My first read of these novellas! Great banter/friendship and I liked the characters. Made me smile and laugh regularly. The entire time I wanted to yell "TELL HIM/HER!!!!!!!" in the best way possible. Appreciated the full circle moment. Hope to read more from this author.
The only con: I didn't like how the book ended. The prologue was about two characters I didn't have much attachment to, and I would rather have read more about Teagan and SIlas.
I still am not convinced thatSilas didn't write the note. Actually, towards the end, I thought maybe Teagan wrote it to be cheeky!
