I've rarely read such a compelling character, I found her 100% believable and consistent in a glorious and tragic way. Loved the characterization in general, everyone made sense despite all their differences. The book sets a punishing pace, this is no endless quest with random shit happening and boring descriptions of scenery, the author is merciless with her protagonist and doesn't allow her the leisure to fall apart. But then that wouldn't be her style anyway. The writing is brilliant.

It was great to read something this mythological in an almost fatalistic way.
