The love war between these two dorks continues in this 3rd volume, as regular romance tropes are put to the test. Things like sharing an umbrella, sharing headphones, and various other ways in which both Miyuki and Kaguya are trying to save face. As usual, each chapter ends with a declaration of who won this round, but I think overall, Kaguya is winning. She is honestly more cunning, more prepared and has the added advantage of Hayasaka as a helper. Meanwhile, Miyuki is trying to maintain his cool genius guy demeanor, but accepts help from Chika to gain an edge.

The situations are comedic as usual, and while Kaguya is a closeted rich kid, she is learning new stuff every day (sometimes thanks to Chika, who we find out has fetishes LOL) and applying that knowledge to seemingly innocent situations leads to some misunderstandings. This volume also introduces the fourth member of the Student Council - the treasurer, who I feel is inconsequential as he is a nerd who hates romance because he doesn't have a girlfriend himself (*eyeroll*) and is mostly just scared of Kaguya (he is not wrong to be afraid of her, though). There are callbacks to previous volumes, but its okay if you don't exactly remember either. I particularly like Hayasaka's chapter, because it gave sort of an outsider perspective on the Student Council trio, which was interesting, to say the least.

Overall - another entertaining installment in this series!
