3.5 rounded up. I knew to expect a long book but it felt like it dragged on. There was definitely a good twist at the end, but it felt like all other Karin Slaughter books, specifically Will Trent books — which isn’t necessarily a bad thing!

Such a sick concept, but presented in a great way. I had to keep reading long after I should have been doing other things - like sleeping. Do I sense another series on its way?

Here we go again with another MARVELOUS writes from Mizz Slaughter! She’s doing a book tour and if she comes anywhere close to home again, I WILL meet her! Funnily enough, I got into her books by pure accident. I was registered to meet her at a book talk at the Kenton County Library back around 2016ish but couldn’t make it for whatever reason. I didn’t even know who she was back then. I won a signed copy of her book at the time and it sat on my shelf until last year. Now I’ve made it my life’s journey to read all her books ❤️

This will Trent/sara story was so good. Gave me that feel of the first few books with how raw it was. I loved the story that was told and Karin Slaughter always delivers on a little twist. Can’t wait for the next one!
