Look, this is a gripping read, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of Slaughter's decision to revise aspects of Sara Linton's past. I could buy the plot twist that someone seemingly innocuous from her past is actually evil happening once (last book), but twice is a big ask.

Another disturbing story that is told so well that you just can't put it down. You have to know what happens next! I absolutely LOVE the character building that Karin does with her series. This is no exception. It was awesome to get a look into Sarah's past and see how it all winds together with the present case. I'm ready for book 12 now! Great narration as always!
