Will, Sara, and this series will always have a special place in my heart. As long as Karin continues to write them, I’ll continue to jump into this world and read them. I enjoyed that even with it being the 11th book in the series, there was more to learn about the characters and their past. And I love when it’s this deep into a series that you get to witness the development of the found family amongst the original characters. This one has a TON of new characters to keep track of and multiple timelines that definitely had me pausing a few times and flipping back though. But otherwise another great read in this series. If you haven’t started the Will Trent/Grant County series, here is your sign to do it especially if you’re a thriller/crime/mystery junkie.

Love Karen Slaughter but this one felt a bit predictable. I was also left feeling like certain elements weren’t addressed. I didn’t understand Britt’s reasoning or motive for telling Sara anything at all to begin with.
