Honestly couldn’t get into Iron Flame and Onyx Storm the way I got into Fourth Wing. I ATE THAT SHIT UP. Like wholly devoured the first book. Iron Flame was ok but didn’t evoke the same passion in me, Onyx Storm….. just meh. It took ages to get into it and a lot of the time I had no idea what tf was going on. Will likely need a major recap before book 4 is eventually released but overall I was underwhelmed unfortunately.
