It was a little hard for me to get back into this book after waiting for it 😬 the main thing I remembered was the cliffhanger with Xaden, so it took a bit for me to get on the same page. The story felt a little slow at first with all of their traveling and breaking rules, but I finally got hooked when she started learning more about her father's past. It felt like the story began to pick up the pace a bit. Not sure why that was--but I was obsessed once she started to make connections to her past. Can't wait for the next book! Ach, the cliffhangers are so good and painful! It felt like we just got introduced to some big mysteries right before it ended so that's kept me up at night lol.

Frustrated. I really wanted this to be the end of the series. It feels like we are pulling drama out of thin air to make it go on longer. Like a reality TV show. The real housewives of Navarre.

I'm not going to be okay for a while! Loved the adventure and friendship in this one. Less spice than we like, but still great! I hate having to wait now though.
