Look, I know we are reading romantasy here and it's kind of expected, but the sex is getting so annoying. How many lightning-striking orgasms can you have, Jesus Christ. Especially when you're not even supposed to fuck. But I digress.
The world is still fun, but these books are too long, there is too much little stuff crammed into them, everything is happening too fast and not fast enough at the same time ... I don't know. I will read the rest of the series for sure because even though I roll my eyes a lot, it still has me wanting to know how it ends, but this should have never been a five-book series. Put it in three books. There is too much filler-episode stuff going on and I am not here for it.

Not quite as compelling as the first two in the series, but still an exciting read. I continue to like but not LOVE these stories, but I'm hooked enough to keep reading. I like getting to know the MCs more and learning more of the lore of their world. I also appreciate what they do with new information, they really live "when you know better, you do better".
