I’m not an avid reader of historical romances but a friend of mine was insistent and I must thank him for buying me this little book. I loved it from start to finish. Emma and Ash’s dynamic had my attention right away and I couldn’t get enough of all the situations they found themselves in. Their friends too always brought a smile to my face.

It’s official I’m a Tessa Dare stan!!!!!! I’m a sucker for a beauty and the beast retelling and this one is no exception - everything about this was perfection! I had no intention of reading this in one sitting but I literally could not put it down.

Every single character exudes charm! The banter between Ash and Emma was not only charming but also incredibly witty. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times.
