I like how these books have so much thoughtful advice on how to handle conflict woven throughout the story. Amar'e is an exceptionally good kid, with an exceptionally supportive crew -- both family and friends, but he puts that background to good use,and spreads the good around. This book is mostly one fast paced basketball play after another, but the story holds together well, and the action keeps the book moving. Lot of heart. I do wish they'd lose occasionally, because I'd like to see how they handle it.
Also, the books in this series stand alone really well -- awesome.
